Description
Located on the first floor of a stunning 18th century palace with frescoes, this gorgeous apartment was finely restored just 3 years ago by a renowned Florentine architecture studio. The neighborhood is residential yet is just around the corner from some of Florence’s most popular attractions: San Marco square, Mercato Centrale, San Lorenzo leather market and the Duomo. The neighborhood also offers guests grocery shops, bakeries, pharmacies, excellent pizzerias and Tuscan restaurants, as well as a rental shop of electrical bikes and scooters!

The apartment consists of an entrance, a large living room with a dining area, a kitchen with a bar, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room with washing machine.

The kitchen is "professional", with a top-rate oven and stovetop, perfect for guests who love to cook and entertain family and friends.

The apartment also comes equipped with a travel crib for babies as well as a pouf (ottoman) that opens up into a small single bed.

The bathrooms, made of travertine marble and limestone, both have showers, one of which has a relaxing waterfall feature and bench for ultimate pampering.

The coffered ceilings are over 4 meters (13 feet) high with original frescoed wood beams.

The house is floored with beautiful French oak parquet. There is air conditioning in all of the bedrooms and in the living room.

16/11/2017 - Simply perfect

We (my husband and I) stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks and we loved it. Super clean, warm, furnished with style and spacious. Very comfy beds. You really feel like you are at home! The owner is a very nice lady that we got to meet a few times and offered us good wine and excellent advice on where to go to eat out! The apartment is very central, just a few minutes away from the main attractions of the city and close to a few bakery shops where every morning we got to buy the best croissants and warm bread. We went out often at night after dinner and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood. The area is just residential so it is very quite even thou the apt. is in the historical center of the city. We have been to Florence several times but this was the best experience we ever had. Highly recommended. We will use again this apt next spring!

16/11/2017 - Stunning Florentine home away from home

My husband and I and two friends booked this beautiful apartment for our weeklong stay in Florence and Tuscany. Because it said it was only a 10 minute walk from the train station, we used it as our base to travel around Florence and Tuscany. It was a wise decision. The apartment is perfectly located. It’s a 5 minute walk to San Marco, Piazza Annunziata, and the Accademia, and a 10 minute walk to the Duomo and train station. It’s in a safe residential neighborhood that has darling restaurants (a great pizzeria- Fuoco Matto!!) and a yummy bakery! And it’s 3 minutes to Mercato Centrale, where we walked daily to get our groceries for the lunch or evening meal!! But the best part is really the apartment itself. Its stunning frescoes ceilings, gorgeous light fixtures, wonderful kitchen (we love to cook and the stove is almost professional!!), wood floors, and cozy bedrooms made it such a homey yet beautiful place to stay. It doesn’t feel like a tourist apartment but like a real home. We also ran into the owner once... a darling Florentine woman who was sweet and welcoming. We will absolutely stay here on our next trip to Florence!
