This stunning apartment is located on the first floor of a very elegant and noble building in Via dell'Oriuolo, a wonderful street just around the corner from Piazza Duomo.
The whole place has been finely restored and tastefully redecorated according to the most refined Tuscan tradition. Terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and the charming style chosen for the interior design donate to this apartment a very unique, typical and yet sophisticated atmosphere.
The apartment is structured on two levels and can accommodate up to three guests.
The entrance of the building itself is rather spectacular and fancy, as it surely was an aristocratic palace back in the day.
The apartment's entrance opens onto a bright corridor leading to the spacious living area, a luminous, airy feeling room equipped with comfortable sofa and armchair (which can be turned into a single bed) flat screen Tv, dining table and library. A corner under the staircase is set as a small and functional study area with antique desk and chair.
The kitchen is directly connected to the living room and is fully equipped and brand new. The kitchen has access to the lovely outdoor patio: a corner of heaven featuring a nice iron table and chairs for you to be able to enjoy moments of pure relaxation outside.
The staircase leads from the living area to the marvelous master bedroom, very spacious and welcoming, also thanks to the exposed wooden beams in the ceilings. The bedroom features a nice and comfortable queen size bed, night tables, closet and dresser, and it also benefits from the presence of a private bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine.

18/06/2018 - Large 1 bedroom apt. in a great location
I stayed in this apt. for 1 week. I chose it based on the photos on their website along w/ looking up and down the street on Google street view. I was impressed the moment I walked into the foyer. There is a shared foyer for 2 apts. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked w/ pots, pans, dishes etc. The terrace looks down into a courtyard which was also the back of a restaurant kitchen. I could hear chopping of vegetables, pounding of meat cutlets and dishes clanking. But, to me that added to the atmosphere. Not all of the french doors opened due to some wood rot from rain weathering on the outside wood. The kitchen knives needed sharpening which was noticeable when trying to cut a tomato or slice bread. The bathroom sink and shower drain were a little slow. These are just small things to take note of. I would definitely stay here again! The Conad grocery was a few minutes walk. A little further east is Sant'Ambrogio Market. I liked that I could venture away from the tourist crowds and get a feel of truly living in the city. Also, the Tuscan restaurant right outside the main door was very good.
17/06/2017 - Home from Home
The apartment has a lovely lived in feel to it. The location is ideal - near to shops - supermarket and all the major tourist sites. No problem to get a taxi to the train station.
01/05/2017 - Excellent location
The location is amazing- you are a walking distance from everything. Check in and check out process was easy. Will definitely visit again.
19/02/2017 - Great apartment right in the heart of Florence
Family of 3, stayed for 45 nights in the Fiore apartment. Great safe location, only a couple of minutes walk in a straight direction up the street to the Duomo and within walking distance to all other major sights including many supermarkets, (Conad supermarket down the street), the Mercato Centrale and the train station, Santa Maria Novella. Many great restaurants and eateries abound. The apartment was a good size for 3, tastefully furnished with a very well equipped kitchen. Good sized bathroom, shower was a bit small but still adequate. Apartment has 2 levels. Downstairs; living area (including double sofa bed), kitchen and walk out small balcony. Upstairs; very large spacious bedroom with queen bed, large cupboard and chests of drawers as well as the bathroom. Wifi was poor which was disappointing as one of our party was in Florence for study purposes, however Apartments Florence were terrific in their attempts to rectify this. I am sure they will improve this in the future. There is some occasional noise from the restaurant next door, (good restaurant - excellent food). Apartments Florence were fantastic with the level of service, attention and expertise they provided. From the initial booking right up to check out, they were professional and on top of things in every way. There were a few very minor maintenance issues along the way and after contacting them they were right on to things and quick to rectify. Thank you Apartments Florence.
16/11/2016 - A tranquil sanctuary in the heart of Florence.
The Cioni family, next door, made us feel welcome and immediately at home during our six-month stay in Firenze. This is a 2-level apartment with an outside patio. The kitchen, dining and living area are on the lower, and the spacious bedroom is up the staircase. The apartment faces an enclosed courtyard.
