22/11/2016 - nice 2BR, good natural light from many windows, super location.
On the top floor, total of 79 steps with well-lit and wide stairs, good risers, handrails on both sides (all useful with arms full with groceries, luggage). 1 BR-Queen bed, closet armoire with plenty of space to hang clothes, coats, area at base for shoes,+ 3-4 shelves. Other BR - 2 twins, armoire with similar space for hangup clothes, a few drawers and a chest of drawers. Both BR have lightswitch at the door and within reach from the beds. Foldout sofa in living room area with TV. A 2nd area has table & credenza which served well as desk/study area. Kitchen with 6 chairs, gas stove, oven, DW, clothes washer, refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, steam iron and ironing board. Hot water heater functions well on demand. At this apartment entry -a wall rack for coats, 2 umbrellas already at there. I was so pleased with this place last year that I rented it again this fall. Quiet, excellent location- just 3 blocks to Piazza Santa Croce, 5-6 blocks to Sant'Ambrogio (local neighborhood, excellent market), and 6-7 blocks to supermarket. Close to many sights in historic center, yet quiet in its own little neighborhood. ApartmentsFlorence is consistently helpful, attentive, accommodating. I have rented thru them 5 times. Of my 5 and 11 weeklong stays here, I had 1 guest for 4 days and 1 for 10 days. It might 'feel' small if there were routinely 4-6 people there. I will rent there again.
05/06/2015 - Spacious and centrally located
Lovely bedrooms, beautiful light, and an ideal location close to Piazza Santa Croce. The apartment's best features are the bedrooms, with large, comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The kitchen is large with an eat-in table and nice appliances, but is not well-equipped for real cooking -- bare minimum of pots, pans, etc. It would have been nicer if there had been basic staples -- coffee, sugar, salt, olive oil, vinegar etc.-- but we had to buy everything, and there are few markets in the area. That said, it is still a nice apartment and ideal location. Gabriel, from the apartment agency, was very helpful: he dragged our heavy suitcases up four flights of stairs and could not have been more charming. Thank you, Gabriel.
03/10/2014 - Great location
This two bedroom apartment has a great location, within easy walking distance to everything including a well-stocked grocery store, pharmacy, varied small, good restaurants and all of the famous Florence sights. No lift and the apartment is 78 steps up, but it is great exercise! The apartment is air conditioned and has good beds, a new bathroom and kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine). Furniture is sparse and lighting is not adequate for reading. Bring an extra one or two kitchen towels as they provide only one. Also they supply only one bath towel per person and there is no drier so after you wash your towels and hang them to dry they are still damp the next day. Kitchen is not well equipped. Bring a shape knife, a cork screw and buy some paper towels and plastic glasses/cups.
11/08/2014 - Excellent apartment
Silent, clean, spacious, beautiful apartment. Nothing to complain. If I come back to Florence, I will be there again.
04/08/2014 - Perfectly Italian, amazing location, great for long weekend in Florence
I recently stayed here with 3 friends on a min break to Florence. I cannot praise the location enough, it is ideal and so central but without being too busy or loud. You are no more than a 5 min walk from all main attractions but it's on a back street which makes you feel like a local where you can hide from bus loads of tourists. (we all like to think we aren't tourists ourselves) Please note the 5 flights of stairs to reach the apartment, but it's worth the climb. Really well kept, clean, spacious and perfect for x 4 people. Comfy beds, air con and even a bottle of red wine to welcome us. (Nice touch) - cute view being so high up and easy to organise getting keys etc... Would stay again.
