Great service and accommodations provided by Apartments Florence made them our choice next time we’re in Italy.
We’ve received nothing but prompt communication and helpful staff before and during our stay in Florence.
Had a couple setbacks during our travels which were not typical: had to change apartments due to owners moving back. We were able to pick Ginori Terrace (very comparable apartment to the fist one) at no extra cost thanks to Apartments Florence prompt communication and great customer service.
Had a late check-in due to lost baggage that was delivered to their office days later while we were traveling; asked for a day early check-out due to flight- and were accommodated. Definitely will recommend Apartment Florence as a rental agency.
Ginori Terrace is a spacious apartment with 2 full bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Clean and simple but has almost everything you need for your stay in the heart of Florence (you might need to buy your own detergent for the washer, as we had non, and some other things).
Very tall ceilings and windows. TVs in every room, 3 air conditioning units which keep apartment at any temperature you like. It also has a nice quite courtyard which is separated in two by vegetation - there is an apartment on the other side also rented by AF.
Location is great. We were a couple blocks away from Santa Maria del Fiore and all the major piazzas and attractions. Great restaurants to pick from right on Via de' Ginori (Simbiosi, La Menagere,), Zaza is not even a 3 minute walk. We also felt very safe as there is the main door into the building that is closed for the night ( you can't come in unless you have the key), the middle iron bar door that is always shut closed (you need a key to get in), and the apartment
There are a couple things future renters should keep in mind:
You have to sacrifice some things to be centrally located. It's a busy and noisy street. We closed outside shutters which made quite a difference and added privacy. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest bringing earplugs. No matter what apartment you rent in the center of Florence, you'll end up with a noisy street.
The apartment is located on the second floor (or 1st in Italian notion). Very small elevator - if you have large bags you will do multiple trips, and maybe send your baggage up by itself.
Privacy: the kitchen has a big glass door leading to the court yard with no drapery or curtains. You somewhat share that space with neighbors, so be aware.
Overall, we fully enjoyed our stay at Ginori Terrace.
21/06/2018 - Great Apartment, great location, and great contacts.
Wonderful apartment in a great location for walking or bus stops. Right between the Duomo and Academia. Grocery right downstairs and also on the corner. A/C in every room and a small but always functioning elevator. Staff always available and answered email promptly. Several restaurants on the block, and the Central market and Eataly on one to two short blocks away. Hard to beat the price and location. Highly recommended.
09/06/2018 - Ginori terrace has everything you need to stay for a while in Florence
Perfectly sized for two couples ( 2BR 2Bath) with an excellent kitchen and sitting area, plus a large quiet terrace for relaxing. Apartments Florence provided efficient and personal check-in /check-out services - the apartment was immaculate and outfitted with everything one could need, including the "easy to use " washer! Downstairs is a market that has "everything" one could possibly need. There are many excellent restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, plus fine shops-Restaurant/Pizzeria Ginori Restaurant San Michele and ZAZA are very close. It has been may years since I spent time in Florence and the number of visitors has increased immensely. Ginori Terrace is just on the edge of the crowds so it offers a "neighborhood" experience that makes for a great stay.Via Ginori can be a bit noisy at night , but the AC allows one to close the wonderful windows if necessary. Go and ENJOY.
29/04/2018 - Apartment in the heart of Florence
Apartment is comfortable with modern appliances, it is situated in the old city of Florence, just around the corner from the Duomo and many other attractions.
The apartment was reasonably quite, except for the 12 loud drunk woman in the entrance one night and the old drunk men who drink all Saturday night and come home early Sunday morning then top it off by yelling to their wives to open the door. A better system to block out the noise and street lights would be a great help in this apartment.

I often travel to Florence for business, so this appartment it is not only near the local market but also near station for my transportations. Nice appartment for every one that needs more than a common room in a hotel.
