01/12/2018 - Elegant apartment
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside this apartment is both elegant and comfortable. The furniture, books, works of art and piano give it an individual feel, and I assume reflect the interests of its owners. The layout of the bedroom is a little awkward, but the other rooms are fine. The apartment is well located, with tourist sites, a street market and supermarket all nearby.
25/05/2017 - Nice, large apartment with small balcony and nice kitchen centrally located in Firence
Nice, big apartment for two. Located centrally in Firence. We arrived by bus from the airport. If you arrive late, you can arrange for an additional fee. Do not think it appeared on Booking.com. Nice route map on Ataf's website. It is easy to take the bus from the station to a stop near the apartment. Eg. Line 14 from the station to via Giovane italia. (Buy ticket in kiosk - it's cheaper). Note that for some obscure grounds there are two house numbers on the houses. Those are the black ones that apply! There is a nice kitchen in the apartment, and there was even coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper etc. And lots of kitchenware. So you can enjoy some of the delicious food you can buy - for example in the small market, which is a stone's throw from the apartment. Or just Carrafour Express or Conad supermarket, located 400m from there. Fine vegetables! Take route 12 or 13 (same line, but each way. A route route. Costs 1.2 Euro, or 2.0 Euro on the bus) across the river - to Piazzale Michelangiolo - and enjoy the view. It is fantastic. Take a trip up to the Abbazia of San Miniato al Monte. And enjoy the view even more! You can even see the apartment from the place. With binoculars or good zoom camera :-) You never gets tired of Florence!
06/11/2016 - Excellent Price/Quality
The apartment is lovely, spacious, and clean. Very well located with only 10 minutes walk from all the major attractions - this is a great value for money !! The team are great - young, kind and very helpful ! Highly recommended !
22/10/2016 - Cosy and comfortable.
We had a problem with the apartment we had initially rented and moved to this one. We had booked using Apartments Florence who were very helpful in a difficult situation. This apartment is delightful and in a good location. It has period furniture and is really like a home. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. We ate out every night in nearby restaurants - all good.
17/10/2016 - Great apartment, except for the street noise.
My husband and I really liked our Florence apartment, there was something very charming and warm about it. It's quite spacious with lots of closet space and lots of hangars, perfect for our long-term stay (22 days). I would have liked to have seen a full length mirror though. The back end of the apartment, where the living/dining room and kitchen are, is very quiet. Unfortunately, the bedroom faces the street and can be quite noisy at night, very loud revellers coming home from the bars, I'm assuming. It's too bad the windows weren't double-paned as that probably would help a lot. However, I found earplugs worked pretty good. But we loved being in Florence and this one "complaint" did not detract from the apartment and the wonderful time we had there. The staff at ApartmentsFlorence was excellent to work with. I would recommend this apartment but know that there is a bit of a noise factor.
