14/03/2015 - Great location and many perks in the apartment.
First I will say that the people at Apartments Florence are just the best to deal with. This is not our first time to rent through this agency, and they have always been helpful, professional and friendly. This apartment's location was great. For one thing it was "just around the corner" from everything - rental agency, great restaurants, grocery store, post office, museums, transportation. Whatever we needed it was only a very short walk away. And yet it was in a quiet area. The apartment itself is roomy - there is a LOT of closet space. It is only one floor up, so easy in and out. The big windows allow in lots of light. Each room has its own heater and they heat up quickly. All the appliances are new and vey modern. In fact I had to pull out the manual to learn how to use some of them. The bed is comfy - the pillows could be better, but the linens are all very nice. The shower is large - which is unusual for any of the apartment where we have stayed before. I prefer the stand alone bidet, but there is a hand-held bidet. The TV is a nice large flat screen. I have no complaints about the apartment. It was a very comfortable home for us for five weeks.
26/01/2015 - Modern Apartment in Central Florence
This is my second stay at via Pandolfini, 8, and I'd be there again later this year if it weren't already booked. The 35-minute, wash and dry cycle on the washing machine alone is worth the price of admission! The apartment is less than 5 minutes from the Bargello, 7 to the Duomo, 5 to Santa Croce, around the corner from the Teatro Verde, and surrounded by restaurants. It's as pictured online, with loads of space, all the creature comforts, including a great bed and an updated bathroom with a generously sized shower. Importantly, its soundproofing is excellent, which matters as street noise reverberates upward, especially when the bars empty! As before, my only complaint has to do with the main door from the street, which is so ugly that you may be tempted to turn around. Don't! Press on and up to the 1st floor, enter, and enjoy!
21/11/2014 - Exactly what we needed in a great location
The apartment is close to some of the main attractions like the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio as well as some piazzas with great bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is modern, clean and quite spacious for 2 people staying for 5 nights. You can hardly hear anything from the street but of course you can always hear people walking in the building but generally didn't hear much (I'm a light sleeper). Bedroom is large with plenty of storage, kitchen has everything you need, bathroom was on the small side but clean and very modern. Wifi was fast. I would definitely stay here again.
19/10/2014 - Good apartment and location for exploring Florence
My friend and I enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Communication was great with rental company. When we first arrived, we questioned our decision. But thankfully outside looks were deceiving. The apartment was great; an open floor plan, high ceilings, and lots of natural light through the windows. Would recommend walking down Via del Corso; more things to see and more foot traffic. The windows do a great job with soundproofing. A Cuban nightclub (great drinks!) is across the street and gets very loud; but we didn't hear a thing. The beds weren't great and i would recommend spacing showers far apart. We ran out of hot water quickly; easy solution was one of us showered in morning and one at night.
27/07/2014 - Lovely well equipped apartment
Had a great in this apartment and in Florence in general. The apartment was well equipped with TV, WIFi, Dishwasher and washing machine.
