The location is good, there is bus stop nearby, which go directly to the center. It's clean and the host is kind.
01/07/2016 - Very comfortable apartment
We had a great time in Via Luca Giordano. We stayed 7 months and our children enjoyed the spacious living room and the easy access to the city centre and the parks in the Campo di Marte area. The shops, bars and restaurants in Campo di Marte were much more interesting than many of the ones in the centre.
22/09/2014 - Spacious & comfortable apartment, perfect for families!
We just returned from our two week stay in Florence and thoroughly enjoyed staying with Apartments Florence at their Luca Giordano 2b apartment. The location is just outside the hustle and bustle of the historic centre in a lovely residential area. We found this to be great for us! We walked 20 minutes everyday with our one year old daughter to the Duomo and other historic sites. There is a large grocery store nearby on Via Masaccio which was helpful for us as we ate most of our meals in. The team from Apartments Florence were wonderful to work with. The sales team of Becky, Gaby and Jen were delightful during the booking process as I was looking for something specific that could accommodate my family. Then the check in team were great too, it was a pleasure to meet Francesco who gave us a comprehensive explanation of the apartment and area. We also booked a walking tour through their concierge team (Gian Marco) which was awesome!!!!! All in all, I would book with Apartments Florence and stay here again. Grazie!!!
12/09/2012 - Excellent appartment, good service
Located near Le Cure (an excellent market area) this is in walking distance of the historic centre of Florence. Well equipped and with air conditioning it would suit a summer or winter traveller. We were a family of four (2 teenagers) and it was great. Nice bathroom and kitchen the only downside is the proximity to the train line but you will sleep. Beds are quite comfortable too. Overall - excellent
31/08/2012 - Luxurious Stay in Florence
Our apartment on the edge of historic Florence was spacious, clean and modern, an Ikea-style two bedroom flat with a beautiful view of the town of Fiesole, and the mountain Leonardo da Vinci jumped off in the hope of flight. Apartments Florence was extremely helpful in making all the arrangements, and, on arrival we were met by Cesare, who explained everything we needed to know about our visit. Florence in august is a little like a Renaissance theme park, with most of the locals on vacation and the streets thronged with international tourists. Our apartment was not in the tourist-y part of town at all, which was a welcome respite. Perhaps the walk to the Duomo wouldn't have seemed so far if it hadn't been 105 degrees, but it forced us to learn how to use the city bus, which paid off handsomely as we covered farther and farther territory. We were a couple of blocks from a great supermarket, Essalunga, and there were bakeries nearby, as well. But, one of the greatest advantages of the location was in the opposite direction from Florence, over a bridge, outside what was once the old city walls. There was much more of everyday Florence, a two screen movie theater, showing Hollywood films in Italian, and a variety of shops and restaurants. We had one of our best meals in Italy at La Riseria, a restaurant specializing in rice dishes, where the staff could not have been nicer to us, in spite of our spotty Italian and their unusual menu which was not translated easily from our phrase books. We also were near what some consider the best Gelato in Florence, at Badiano, with superb flavors, including an intense dark chocolate for which they are widely renowned. The layout was extremely convenient for my husband and I and our daughter and friend. The flat is in need of some rewiring, as we quickly learned to use appliances one at a time to keep from tripping the breaker. But, Cesare had explained it all to us ahead of time! A wonderful stay.
