12/06/2018 - Perfect for families
We had a wonderful time in Florence staying at the Bartolommeo apartment. The apartment is clean and welcoming and has everything you need from linens, towels, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher and air conditioning that works great in every room! We felt right at home and so did our children and friends who also stayed with us. The customer service was also prompt and helpful. If I had to comment on any downfall, it would have to be that there was no dishwasher detergent or laundry detergent left for guests to use. I believe that this is something that should be provided as it is a bit much for us to have to go out and buy large containers of each, which we ended up leaving for the next guests. But really just a small oversight. Other than that, this apartment is perfect.
25/01/2018 - Spacious Apartment - 15 min walk to Duomo
We were surprised by the generous space in this apartment. Three full bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin) and 2 bathrooms make it ideal for families or up to 3 couples in a group. The Esselunga supermarket is a 5 minute walk, there is a bar for morning coffee across the road and we found parking each night in the street or in Piazza Savanarola one block away (hint - non residents have to park in the blue spots and the meter is active 8am-8pm). Oh and getting to the Duomo is as simple as walking straight down the one street (or jumping on a bus across the street). Be aware you have to pay separately for power, gas and water for the whole stay if you stay more than 7 days. We were ‘lite’ users (hardly ever there, are out and left the heating set at a comfortable 20C) and it cost us €42 for 8 days.
23/07/2017 - Thank you again for helping our time in Florence to be extraordinary. It's strange to think of other people living in yo
This is a beautiful, bright, well-decorated apartment in a modern building with well-functioning central AC and heat, wifi, and power (which is not always the case in the more historic buildings). My family of four lived here for 6 months and walked everywhere around Florence from the apartment. It is also conveniently located on multiple bus lines if your feet eventually wear out. It is just down the road from a large grocery store, the market in the Cure (M-S mornings), a variety of restaurants, and the Piazza Savonarola where in the warmer months you can sit in the evenings and dog and people watch while have a spritz from the local bar. The views from the apartment aren't anything touristically scenic but allow you to look out on a spacious Italian courtyard or the local pasticceria: more people and dog watching to be had there! Our whole family can't recommend the place enough.
25/08/2016 - Great quiet place in Florence
This spacious apartment just north of the historical center of Florence was quiet and comfortable. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with amenities such as a grocery store and hardware store within 2 blocks. There is a coffee shop immediately across the street for breakfast and coffee. The apartment has very easy access to buses that take you to the historical sites, they are also within walking distance. I highly recommend the IATF phone app for the buses in Florence which helped us get to and from this apartment. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made it easy for our family to be comfortable.
20/04/2016 - Bartolommeo apartment
The apartment is huge, but the space is divided into small units (i.e, kitchen seperate from dining room, corridor for entrance, and rooms and bathroom/kitchen), which gives the overall atmosphere of the apartment as crumpy and tight. The living room is small, i wish that the space in corridors were in the living room. The furniture are heavily used, could've been better. Location is perfect, just outside the inner circle of the center of florenec. If u wish to be in a open neighbourhood away from the noise, this apartment is ideal. Only 8 minutes walk to San Marco. Ideal for lonh term stay and not short vacation. The neighboorhood is very quiet by 6pm and all night, rooms are facing the streets. Under the building there is a delicious bakery for morning bites and adjacent to the building is another bakery for fancy cakes and croissant (Minni's). The bus stop number 17, is a step away from the building and it takes u directly to san marco, train station and other ideal attractions in florence.
