29/03/2018 - Sasseti 1 bed

I stayed in Sasseti 1 bed and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The central location of the apartment with all needed amenities are nearby. Restaurants, grocery shops, bars and leisure activities are all within 2 minutes walk and hence it makes it a very convenient place to stay. The only draw back I would say is the noise at night due to lack of double glazing in the apartment. This did not cause too much of a problem for a deep sleeper like me. Apartment Florence staff are all helpful and did respond to my request with diligence

16/10/2017 - Great Space

The apartment was great. It was right in the center of Florence in a very upscale neighborhood. The rooms are large and the furniture is nice. Having the extra space allowed us to work, and entertain during our month stay in Florence. Having a washer in the apartment was also a very nice amenity.

28/09/2016 - A Nice Apartment in a Great Location

Location is the greatest feature of this property. 25 steps to climb. Corner apartment with 7-8 windows opening to 2 streets. Nice and airy with windows open. A large, comfortable living room. Sat/cable TV with no English channels. Sound proofing - nothing to speak of but street sounds are expected at such location. Bed is very, very low. Kitchen with a small dining table is well equipped, there is a washing machine as well. Air-conditioning units are portable with vents through window panes thus preventing the closing of the shutters. The pictures of the apartment show 1 unit in the living room. The 2 other units were removed for the "photo-opp" but you can see the holes in the window panes. Living room a/c unit extremely noisy (vibration of cover, etc.). Good WiFi, hot water. Several window curtains missing. Nice, comfortable bathroom with a separate area with sink. Towels and toilet paper is supplied but whether you stay 1 night or 5 (as we did), if you need anything extra, you need to wash things yourself and buy toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. Overall the apartment is very comfortable and the location is fantastic - 5-10 minute walk to all the city highlights.

17/06/2016 - new memories

I had a wonderful experience renting from this company. The description of the apartment was right on target and so were the recommendations for dinner and places to visit. The neighborhood is right in the historic and business center of the city, so it does get noisy at night. We were ready for this and it was no bother. The apartment is clean and full of great hotel amenities just in case. And just one block away from Palazzo Strozzi and Palazzo Davanzati (a real Medieval gem!). Coming back home to Florence after 25 years was amazing- and I have new memories to cherish.

07/04/2016 - Best Location Ever!

Sassetti is a terrific apartment, with only one exception: the bed is so low you'll need a winch to extract yourself (unless, of course, you're under 60, which I'm not). That said, the location couldn't be better -- 5 minutes or less to virtually all the main attractions in the "centro." I was able to see and photograph the "Scorpio del Carrio" parade on Easter morning from windows fronting on via Strozzi and via de'Sassetti. The apartment is one floor above ground, no elevator, with large living room, accommodating kitchen and bath, and a washing machine with the sought-after "rapido" setting so that you can do a load of laundry in only 25 minutes (regular travelers in Italy will know that the cycle on most machines takes 2 hours!). This is the 4th time I've rented through, and I've never been disappointed: excellent pre-arrival communication, agent shows up promptly, both at beginning and end of your stay, apartments in good shape. Try them, you'll be pleased!
