This is the biggest Halloween Festival in Italy. It is held in Borgo a Mozzano a small town in the Serchio Valley, just about 20 km from Lucca.

The Festival is at its 18th edition and if you are a fan of Witches, Wizards, Ghosts and Vampires this is an occasion not to be missed! The “Lucchesia” (area around city of Lucca) is famous for being a magical territory and a lot of legends about witches and ghosts are passed from father to son.

The Festival covers the weekend from 29th to 31st October and the organizers included a lot of events like concerts and parades, shows and the famous attraction called the Passaggio del Terrore or Terror Path where the public is the real protagonist interacting with the scenography, lights, music, caracters and special effects. In 2010 the Festival counted about 45.000 visitors in the whole weekend from any part of Italy and also from other countries.
