The worldwide classification Travelers’ Choice Food and Wine Destinations 2011 has rewarded 70 gourmet destinations declaring winners in United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Central and South America, South Pacific and India and on the top of the list of the Old Continent, revised from Trip Advisor, Florence is the undisputed queen of gourmet tradition followed by Siena in the sixth position.

Lorenzo Brufani, speaker for Trip Advisor Italy, states that Italy obtained an absolute success among the European gourmet excellences, being in the Top Ten with Florence, Rome, Siena and Bologna and also Sorrento, an hidden gem chosen by a huge number of travellers for its food and prestigious wines.
